Paul Berry
The Morning Experience! 6am to 10am - Monday - Friday
Paul Berry is a 25 year East Texas radio veteran. He has been playing The Greatest Hits of All Time on 92.1 FM KDOK since 1995. Off the air, Paul is an avid music collector and enjoys cooking, standup comedy, good strong coffee, and spending time with friends and his Red Heeler Roxie. -
Mike LaRoux

Mick Fulgham
Afternoons! 3pm to 7pm Monday - Friday and 6-11am Saturday mornings!
Mick has worked in East Texas radio for eighteen years, with prior stops in the Rio Grande Valley, McAllen, and South Padre Island. Music has always been a very important element in Mick’s life, and he lists John Lennon as his favorite musician. Mick enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and his three beautiful children, Ashley, Josh, and Aubrey. In his free time, Mick enjoys movies, going out to eat, and playing whatever sport is in season. Contrary to popular belief... Mick is not a member of the clergy, and he'd be the first to set you straight on that! -
Mike Sebastian
Evenings! 7-Midnight Monday - Friday and Saturday 11am - 4pm
Mike graduated from Jacksonville High School 1972 and later received his Bachelors Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Today, Mike resides in Whitehouse. His first radio job in Tyler was right here at KDOK in 1978. He has also done time at KEYP, KNUE, KISX, KKUS, KTYL and KROZ. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, working on and driving his 1972 Chevrolet Impala Convertible, riding 4-wheelers and anything having to do with radio, including listening to The Greatest Hits of All Time on KDOK! -
Jerry Houston
Overnights! Midnight to 6am M-F/Midnight to 6am Weekends
Jerry Houston has been a lifelong broadcast and entertainment personality, whose voice over work can be heard in many places. Due to the limitations of the Witness Protection Program guidelines we have to use Jerry's high school picture. -
Garth Maier
Morning News
Garth Maier is a veteran News/Talk news anchor and program director. Garth began his career as a news reporter/anchor in Conroe, Texas in 1985. He's worked in Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City and East Texas. His professional career also includes writing and editing a community newspaper, as well as television reporting. He has a passion for news and is dedicated to the spoken word format.
Garth currently lives in Tyler with his wife, Kerri Compton-Maier, and their two daughters, Ruth and Sarah. Kerri operates TrafficWatch, and provides exclusive traffic information on KTBB and KDOK. The couple enjoys time outdoors with their family, bible study, and traveling.

Kevin Arden
Weekends 2 to 6pm Sunday Afternoons!
Lifelong resident of Kilgore, Kevin Arden is the newest member of the KDOK Air Force. Kevin loves him some Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns, especially when they’re winning! And when they’re not, he laughs it off watching Family Guy, South Park and Seinfeld re-runs. Kevin’s favorite KDOK artists include The Beatles and Bruce Springsteen. -
Melissa Kiser
News and Weekends 6-10am!
Melissa Kiser hails from Kansas City, but planted her roots in East Texas soil at a young age. She currently attends Tyler Junior College and will graduate in May 2006 with an Associates Degree in Communications/Broadcasting...then plans to attend UT Tyler and continue her studies. She took advantage of an internship at KTBB/KDOK that was offered through a broadcasting class, and after a 6 week stint, landed a part-time gig at the station. She is the 1st intern that KTBB/KDOK has seen in over 50 years. Melissa plans on taking over the airwaves someday! -
Bill Coates
SPORTS!
Bill Coates is a Tyler native and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He got his start in Austin, moving on to WBAP in Dallas in the early eighties. Bill has been broadcasting college and professional sports since 1981, working with the SMU Mustangs, TCU Hornfrogs, Dallas Mavericks, and a variety of national radio broadcast networks. Bill has broadcast three bowl games and a Western Athletic Conference Championship game. Bill is a four-time winner of the Associated Press award for Best Sportscast in Texas, and the 1988 Dallas Press Club "Katie" award winner for best sportscast. Bill and his wife Diana have three children, Pearson, Lani, and Braden. -
Dr. Bob Peters
WEATHER!
Dr. Bob Peters has been a resident of Tyler for most of his life, graduating from Tyler Junior College before going on to earn his BA from Texas Christian University, his MA from Stephen F. Austin, and his Ph.D in History from the University of Texas at Austin. Since 1966, "Dr. Bob" has taught government and history at Tyler Junior College, where he also served as Dean of the School of University Studies. He has served on the governing boards of four State agencies under the administrations of Governors White, Clements, Richards, Bush, and Perry. Dr. Bob is in his fifth decade of reporting news and weather for East Texas, and has been the National Weather Service observer for Tyler since 1992. -
John Sims
NEWS!
John Sims is a native of Philadelphia and a veteran of thirty years in radio, including 28 in East Texas. John, a graduate of Temple University, is very active in local causes. He is a past president of Leadership Tyler, current president of the Smith County Community Partnership Council (a citizen group that works with the state parole division), and the coordinator for the Tyler Together Race Relations Forum. John is also a board member of the Tyler Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Other organizations with which he is active include the League of Women Voters, the March of Dimes, the Smith County Coalition for the Homeless, the Tyler Church and Community Network, East Texas Wheelers and Walkers (a fellowship and advocacy group for people with spinal cord injuries), the North American Indian Cultural Association of Texas, and the East Texas Hispanic Business Forum. -
Kerri Compton
TRAFFIC!
Kerri Compton has her finger on the pulse of Tyler's streets and highways. Operating from behind an impressive array of monitoring software and police and emergency scanners, Kerri will get you to, or from, place to place as safely as possible. Kerri's traffic reports are broadcast in the mornings, during the News Magazine, and the afternoons.
